HIPS & EPS
PDF Print E-mail

High impact polystyrene (HIPS) is one of the most widely used thermoplastics, especially in those products where brittle polystyrene (PS) can not be used.

EPS is a common form of packaging and its strong, light, waterproof, cushioning and insulating properties make it the ideal protection and packaging for a huge range of products from electrical to food.

In 2009 we installed and commissioned a brand new twin extruder line for the reprocessing of EPS and HIPS. This line is capable of reprocessing up to 600kg of material per hour. The finished pellets are clean, filtered and sanitised and are used in a wide variety of industries such as injection molding and even picture frames.

We are able to compound materials to supply colours and additives to your exact spec.

We are currently reprocessing materials from yoghurt pots and offcuts to fish boxes and electrical goods packaging which are then being made into items such as fence posts or even back to picture frames!

Call us for more details whether you have scrap materials to sell, or wish to purchase high quality reprocessed materials.
